Why we collect data and what data we collect

We collect the comments when a visitor leaves a comment. Visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string are also collected by us for spam detention.

Do not upload images with embedded location data because visitors can extract location data from images on the website by downloading them.

Once you comment on something on our website, your email address is your name are saved in the cookies for your convenience. It lasts for one year and it makes adding another comment on the website convenient for you because once the cookies are saved, you won’t have to fill in your detail again to make any comment.

The cookie does not contain any of your data and whenever you close the browser, it gets discarded. Once you log in, we save your screen display choices and your login information. The screen display choices cookies last for a year and the login information data lasts for only 2 days. By choosing the option “remember me”, you can keep your login information for two weeks. The cookies get removed once you log out of your account. An additional cookie gets saved if you publish or edit an article and it does not include any personal data.
